What are the major water sanitation and hygiene programs run in India?

India’s population still has limited access to safe drinking water, Sanitation facilities. There is no denying the importance of clean drinking water for health and hygienic benefits. Therefore, in recent years, India and other global organizations have greatly focused on improving water, sanitation, and hygiene access for the majority of India’s population. The Government of India has associated with many vocations to develop healthier communities and improve livelihoods by facilitating more access to WASH services.   • Indian Government partnership for ending open defecation and sanitation
